Last time, we relocated to County Kerry. Time to explore! First up, we took a quick visit to the Dingle peninsula.
It was a nice drive over. We stopped on the way at an old working windmill outside of Tralee. Unfortunately, the blades were out for repair1, so we didn’t get to tour the mill, but we got to read all about it. The museum had an interesting exhibit on Irish emigration as well.
We drove out onto the Dingle peninsula and explored the area along the shore. We stopped on the way back to visit Castlegregory.2
Our verdict - more time needed. Another visit to the peninsula is most definitely in order; and, it would be even better if we could share it with friends.3 But, for now, our kitty awaits us.
Next time… exploring the vast metropolis of Ballyheigue.
Of course they were.
“The most beautiful place on earth.” We know, because it says so, right on their website.
This is a literary device known as “foreshadowing”.
Looks like you both had a blast! :) Love these posts.
Thanks for posting! Thank you also for clarifying which site is the world's most beautiful one, since there may be some misinformation posted on other sites. Since you are now in Portugal, the McDonald's in Porto is supposed to be the world's most beautiful one. Tell us how it is when you go out for a super-size fries :) https://www.businessinsider.com/mcdonalds-porto-portugal-most-beautiful-in-the-world-2018-8
